溫布頓前哨戰倫敦女王草地公開賽正賽15日開戰，「寶島一哥」盧彥勳順利闖進會內賽，不過第一輪就得碰上超級強敵，「英國希望」Andy Murray。
自2009年起，草地女王賽升級為積分500分的ATP賽事，會外賽打起的盧彥勳接連擊退義大利Luca Vanni、烏茲別克Denis Istomin，殺進會內賽。
順利闖關沒能讓盧彥勳休息太久，他首輪將強碰頭號種子Murray，Murray在2009、2011、2013年都稱霸倫敦，是繼Francis Gordon Lowe後，第一位3度奪冠的地主選手。
盧彥勳曾在2008年北京奧運擊敗當時世界排名第6的Murray，儘管事過境遷，「盧一哥」不是沒有希望。
